PT Food & Beverage Set Up Operations Lead
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, in English.
- Must be able to make quick and accurate decisions.
- Consults with assistant manager regarding serving arrangements and additional employees and equipment required.
- Sets Bars, Concessions, Banquet tables Etc.
- Meets with Chef on Duty at the start of every shift to review BEO set up and labor needs.
- Anticipate customers’ needs based on BEO or assistant manager request based on product or layouts.
- Must be a leader, motivating the servers, resolving conflicts and exceeding guest expectations.
- Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all Destination El Paso guests
- Determines when a guest should not be served additional alcoholic beverages in accordance with TABC policies.
- Must inspect function space prior to start of function to ensure cleanliness, organization and ambiance, (first impression, attractiveness, etc.) • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s/department policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for equipment inventory monthly.
- Ensure the front and back of the house are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards and assistant manager needs.
- Review status of assignments and any follow‐up action with Banquet Manager and/or oncoming Supervisor
- Notify Assistant Manager when low on items such as lemons, creamers, coffee etc.
- Jump in on other events as Server, Bartender, Lead as needed for events.
- All other duties assigned. Runner Responsibilities
- Preps for set up of product needed for bar, concession and or other F&B needs through an event.
- Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing needs for F&B set ups and other operational needs that are needed to prep or set up for any F&B related events.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- One year’s experience as a banquet server or banquet captain • Food Handler’s and Alcohol Awareness Certificate preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours as needed.
- Must have a professional attitude and appearance.
- Some travel required. • Daily lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs. Up to 10 minutes at a time.
- Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination
- Must be able to balance and have good manual dexterity.
- Constantly reaching, standing, walking, and stooping. Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computers and basic computer programs.

Working Conditions: Activities occur both inside and outside facility; some exposure to adverse weather conditions; ability to work flexible hours, as needed, to include nights, weekends or holidays. Standing for long periods is normal and walking during events is expected.
