1. Taconeta

2. The Grove

The Grove Brunch Cafe has two locations in El Paso, offering guests signature mimosas and cocktails, sandwiches, pizza, an extravagant selection of brunch staples and plenty more creative dishes. 3. Desert Oak Barbecue
Texas barbecue is alive and thriving in El Paso. With its first introduction to the city in 2015 as a small food truck, Desert Oak has become one of El Paso’s best-known spots for mouth-watering smoked brisket, pork ribs, sandwiches, stuffed potatoes, and traditional BBQ sides. Bring along friends, family, or dine solo at their Cowtown location, off I-10, where you will find a full bar, spacious seating, and the smoking pits. Visit Desert Oak’s sister location, El Paso Potato Company, in Far East El Paso, to enjoy their signature smoked meats atop a loaded baked potato, in a burrito or in a bowl!

4. Los Bandidos De Carlos and Mickey’s

Grab a table, or a seat at the bar, to enjoy the sensational food and vibrant atmosphere of Carlos and Mickey’s in Central El Paso. Well known for their “Texas-sized” margaritas, live music, and eclectic décor, this restaurant is home to an impressive menu specializing in Mexican meals and drinks. Make room for a main course of chile rellenos, tampiquena steak, or a bowl of tortilla soup. Don’t forget to end the night on a sweet note with an order of sopapillas or homemade flan.

5. Piedmont Cafe
Both a restaurant and a well-stocked bar, Piedmont Cafe is a special eatery in West El Paso. Established in 2019, Piedmont features all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner options, coffee, and pastries. Menu items include gold pad thai noodles, matcha buckwheat pancakes, falafel mezze, and many others. Vegan and vegetarian options are available for most meals, just ask upon request. Pair any dish with a draft beer, glass of wine, or an iced beverage of your choice.

6. Ardovino’s Pizza
With over 60 years in business, Ardovino’s is a classic El Paso landmark, with several locations across the city. House favorite pizzas include The Joanna’s, Royal, Four Season, and Woody – each a delectable creation of specialty toppings, sauces, and ingredients. The menu doesn’t stop at pizzas; enjoy a Garden Green or Antipasto salad for a lighter bite, a hot sandwich or vegetarian meal. 7. Weirdoughs Bakery & Cafe
As an award-winning bakery, Weirdoughs is a delicious bakery relatively new to El Paso, whose baked treats are imaginative, unique, and sweet. From donuts, pastries, cakes, and drinks, Weirdoughs’ menu is one to explore. Some donut flavors are seasonal, but you’re always welcome to order an Old Fashioned, brownies, macarons, or a jumbo cupcake. Owners Andrea Andujo and Bianca Owens are committed to serving only fresh, made-from-scratch pastries and drinks.
