PBS El Paso and PNC Grow Up Great® are thrilled to announce Be My Neighbor Day, a fun-filled family event aimed at celebrating community spirit and neighborly kindness. The event will take place on March 23, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at ESC Region 19 Head Start, located at 11670 Chito Samaniego Dr, El Paso, TX.

Inspired by Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, the beloved PBS KIDS series from Fred Rogers Productions., Be My Neighbor Day is a free event, welcoming families from all corners of the community to come together for a day of learning, laughter, and connection. Attendees will learn the importance of being caring neighbors and fostering positive relationships within their communities.

The event will feature many engaging activities designed to inspire and educate children on kindness, empathy, and cooperation. From hands-on activities to meeting local community helpers and participating in a food drive, children will have the chance to discover what it means to be a kind neighbor in a supportive and inclusive environment.

A highlight of Be My Neighbor Day will be the appearance of Daniel Tiger from the beloved PBS KIDS show, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Attendees will have the exciting opportunity to meet and take photos with Daniel Tiger, creating cherished memories for the whole family.
