Are you transgender or gender non-conforming, or a friend/ally of someone who is? Do you have questions about gender affirming hormone therapy, speech and voice modification, navigating the healthcare system, or advocating for the gender affirming care you want? Join us for an interdisciplinary health education program hosted by Borderland Rainbow Center and The University of Texas at El Paso College of Health Sciences and School of Pharmacy!

Specialists from Pharmacy, Speech-Language Pathology, Social Work, Borderland Rainbow Center, and Planned Parenthood are here to answer your questions and help you feel confident in navigating gender affirming care. These monthly workshops will cover topics such as safe use of hormones and injectables, finding an authentic voice, locating and navigating community resources, sexual health and wellness, and talking with health professionals about your needs.

There is no cost to attend. You will have the option to complete surveys about your experiences in the workshop and the Paso del Norte region. Participants at each workshop will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of two $50 gift cards. Pizza and beverages will be provided!
